Guidelines for Exams
1. For all the treatises there will be an oral examination of 15 minutes duration.
2. Oral examinations in any other subject will be of 10 minutes duration.
3. For the History of Philosophy, both Western and Indian, there will be a written examination of two and a half hours duration.
4. Written examinations in any other subject will be of two hours duration.
5. With regard to examinations and written assignments, students guilty of violating the disciplinary code of the institute will be given a warning with appropriate sanctions at the first instance, and will be debarred in the second instance for the same.
The marks for each course will be divided as follows:
Personalization, Group discussions, Reading of Primary sources, Class presentation, Participation

Final exam
